It is a statewide system of education and training that prepares people for high skills jobs and assures employers of a skilled flexible workforce in the future.
Philippines is a third world country and many are jobless. It is the result for a less skilled worker who is not competitive to the world demands. That’s why our government is aware of this program ( workforce development) for we can see that many technical and vocational school been opened. This is only the alternatives to the students who are under financial crisis. Vocational school offers short courses that after studying , student are equipped with enough skills for a certain field that may help in finding a job, the advantage in vocational school, they teach a specific skills in a certain job that makes you a highly-skilled worker that will give you the opportunity to work overseas. Right now big portion of our country’s income come from OFW who earned dollars by working abroad.
Workforce development will increase the productivity. Our country’s product is the human forces. Filipino are in demands for work abroad for we can meet to their needs in term of services. It is the results of proper studies learned. Like the caregivers abroad they only need to study for six months and after that they already possess the skills for the job. Right now Filipino workers can compete to other nationalities. This is the result of the government program. OFW cannot work abroad if you do not possess the certificate of training given by TESDA. Country’s leading vocational school.
In my locality, people’s income mainly come from farming. The Local Government Unit of San Isidro focus on how to help farmers in order to boost their income. We introduce deferent kind of seminars and training for the people of San Isidro to be knowledgeable to the opportunities given. For example, hog raising. The LGU of San Isidro has been dispersing 60 piglets to become sow . In order for the programs success we engage the farmers to series of seminars on how the proper way of handling a sow. In a simple way they develop the proper workforce.
Decision Time
Decision making can be regarded as the mental processes resulting in the selection of a course of action among several alternative scenarios. Every decision making process produces a final choice. The output can be an action or an opinion of choice. This is according to the dictionary.
In this book Learning to Lead, Decision making is the final stages on how the town of field attain higher economic status and stability. In order for the committee to decide they need to review all their resources, the programs, time and most specially the financial aspect. If the said program is best applicable to the community’s needs and on how their community direction goes. After the decision making they finally come up with the right planning and strategies to be settled first before the success will be achieve.
For me in order to achieve success you need a thorough planning and careful decision making. In a step by step processes you can compare the output whether its result is good or bad, for you can enhances it when the output is good and reform it if otherwise.

 
TOURISM
Tourism deals a very important factors in our society that it gives a large amount of money to our government. There are a number of benefits of tourism. For it generates a large amount of income in locality. Tourism create jobs in many different areas, for tourist have different needs. With tourism comes hotel, restaurants, car rental agencies, tour companies, airlines, souvenir shops, sports equipment rentals, etc… All of this creates many different levels of employment for people in a given community. There are many advantages of tourism. It diversifies the economy , all the businesses will benefit, reality it brings money, creates job that un employment rate will decrease. Of so many advantages of tourism, there are also many disadvantages.
For example on what happen in the Island of Boracay, that Island is a worldwide tourist destination. Many of the investors are building their resorts in the said island even if they do not have a certain permit in order to operate a business. What they do in order to have a place in a very crowded place they destroy the nature, yes, resorts bring big amount of taxes but in return the destruction of our mother nature.all this doing will be brought back unto us in a matter of time that we can learn our lesson.
Because we do not have the same culture some of the tourist they do not respect local cultures they are not affected if they bring pollution to our community, vandalism and littering.
In general , tourism is an extremely profitable business in our country but it also bring destruction if we do not carefully manages it.
